Recording Breaking Jigsaw puzzle

Ravensburger have broken the world record for the world’s largest jigsaw puzzle, with an amazing 40,320 pieces. That’s a staggering 8,000 more puzzle pieces than the previous world record!

Guinness World Records confirms that Disney Moments from Ravensburger is the largest commercially-available puzzle in the world, in both number of pieces and sheer size.

Weighing a hefty 20kg, the completed puzzle is almost seven metres wide and just less than two metres tall – bigger than football goal! It is packed in separate bags, with each one forming a separate section, so you can complete it in stages. When all the sections are combined, the puzzle is complete.

This giant puzzle features 10 hand-drawn scenes from iconic Disney films including, Snow White, Fantasia, Dumbo, Bambi, Cinderella, Peter Pan, The Jungle Book, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King. Each scene is framed by a film strip indicating the film's year of release and depicting additional scenes from each movie. Instructions include helpful hints for assembling the puzzle and a reference guide.

For an added bonus! A Mickey Mouse symbol is hidden in each of the 10 scenes, giving puzzlers an added element of fun whilst completing the puzzle! The record breaking puzzle will no doubt become a highly sought after item for serious puzzle enthusiasts and collectors.
