Labyrinth from Ravensburger

Being part of the Ravensburger puzzle club has given us a fantastic opportunity to try out some pretty amazing puzzles, the children love doing them as much as I do so its a pleasure trying them out so we can review them for you. Last week I took delivery of our latest puzzle to try and was surprised to find it was actually a board game.

After reading the box I wasn’t really sure what to expect from this game but gathered the children to play with me. Labyrinth is a family game designed for children aged 7 years old + and can be played with 2-4 players. Little Bird is only 4 years old and has managed to play along with us although we do help him a little bit.

Labyrinth is a crazy maze game that will keep you on your toes. The idea is to work your way around the maze collecting your treasures before heading home. The maze is constantly changing and you will never play on the same board game twice because of the ever changing maze.

This game takes 20-30 minutes to play and we all loved it from the off, even Little Bird who is the youngest. The children love watching the maze change and working their way around the board although I had to watch Big Bird because she does like to cheat if she gets the chance and when my back was turned I realised instead of changing one maze piece like instructed per move she was in fact moving around 10 pieces ……sneaky.

Whilst we were playing Big Bird said to me “I love this game its amazing.”I laughed and repeated what she had said but a bit slower. “I love this game its a-mazing.”When she realised what I had done we all laughed. This is a great family game and we would recommend it to other families, the children have played it everyday since it arrived they love it.

You can currently buy Labyrinth in any good toy or online shop now,you will be looking to pay around £14.99 prices may vary depending where you shop.
