This week we received the Octonuats 4 in a box jigsaw from Ravensburger as part of the Ravensburger Puzzle Club. Its a our second puzzle to review and as my family are bonkers about jigsaws this one came to a good home. Little Bird was off of Nursery poorly with a cold when it arrived, he loves puzzles and as soon as it arrived it perked him up and he couldn't wait to get on with it.
We love that there is four puzzles in one box, they are colour coordinated around the edge to make it easy to find the pieces, we started with separating the four colours and then little Bird picked the one he wanted to do first. He chose the red jigsaw which contained 12 pieces and he managed to do it all by himself. He did struggle to find the two middle pieces but luckily he had mummy on hand to help.
Next Little Bird chose the green puzzle which contained 16 pieces. I got all the pieces out for hi and he slowly put them in the right place. This puzzle set is designed for children ages 3 years old + amd is perfect for little ones to have fun with. One thing we have noticed with both of the Ravensburger puzzles we have reviewed is the fantastic quality of the puzzles. We have lots of children puzzles and many of them do not fit together very well, or get one piece in and then another one pops out of place somewhere else and it really winds my children up.Its very frustrating but both puzzles from Ravensburger all fit firmly into place an do not move until you break them up. Brilliant quality and worth every penny.
Little Bird thoroughly enjoyed making all four puzzles hes done them everyday since they arrived and he tells me this is his favourite puzzle. They come highly recommended from the Bird Family.
